Last night I posted about Charlie... a baby parakeet born to my friend Tricia's birds. I was very excited about Charlie and I got updates on the baby every day.
Sadly, I woke up this morning to an update that Charlie passed in the middle of the night. I'm very sad.... and very sad for my friend.
I know some people say "It's just a bird" but this bird was part of my friends family, which made her part of my family. When you love something and lose it... it hurts, no matter what it is.
Rest in peace baby Charlie... You stole my heart.
